Winter Session 2017

Congratulations to all our students on a great first session here at Sing Your Song Studios! We have some incredible new and returning students this year making up a great variety of musicians and vocalists. We are very proud of our vocalists and pianists who sang and played at the Beanery during Light Up. You were all phenomenal!

This session we have eight weeks for private study between January 30 and March 17. We will be using the time to prepare for a type of in-house masterclass/recital. This will be a small gathering to perform for parents & siblings only, and a great way to warm up for our big recital at the end of the Spring Session. We may also have some other community-related performances at that time.

In addition to our usual offerings for private study on voice and piano, we will be hosting group theory/ear training lessons, Sunrise (Music for Young Children) group lessons and also group workshops/masterclasses on a variety of creative disciplines. Stay tuned for more information!

Session Two

Our next session for private lessons begins on January 4th and runs ten weeks ending on Thursday, March 11, 2016. (Spring Break in School District #67 then begins).

In addition to holding our usual private voice and piano lessons during this session, we will also be hosting a Sunrise 1 Class (a Music for Young Children Program). We are offering both a classic sunrise class (for ages 2 & 3) as well as an enriched Sunrise Program (for 4 & 5 year olds).

These classes are a great way to introduce your child to the joy of music. In addition to having fun with music and movement, these group activities serve as an excellent foundation for future private music lessons on any instrument or voice.
